  1. describe and explain the phonological and morphological structure of the Romani language
  2. apply knowledge of the grammatical structure of the Romani language in speech production
  3. compare and distinguish elements of Roma culture across regions and Roma groups in Europe
  4. describe and analyze relevant literary texts of Roma literature and the developmental patterns of social phenomena in the historical context
  5. recognize different approaches to the Roma identity from the arrival of the Roma in European territories to the present day and define and explain the methodology of Roma studies and recognize its pronounced interdisciplinarity
  6. summarize and interpret the history of the Roma and define the relationship between the Romani language, literature, culture and history, and the language, literature, culture and history of the majority population
  7. classify the knowledge about the Roma and the Roma culture and identity from various perspectives and academic disciplines
  8. analyze cultural, historical, religious, sociological and political experiences of the Roma in Europe
  9. independently prepare professional texts in various academic writing types in accordance with the principles of academic ethics and orally present professional insights and results of scientific research in Croatian and in a foreign language
  10. evaluate personal interests and competencies and choose appropriate areas for independent or formal continuation of education in the context of doctoral studies or lifelong learning
