  1. critically interpret and argue contemporary scientific and professional literature in the field of one's own profession and other social sciences and humanities
  2. autonomously write professional texts in various academic forms in accordance with ethical principles in academic writing, and orally present professional knowledge and results of scientific research in Croatian and foreign language
  3. differentiate basic pedagogical and didactic concepts and categories and explain their historical and theoretical constitution
  4. identify and analyze contextual (social, cultural, political, and economic) factors of education
  5. express one’s own pedagogically based view on various educational phenomena
  6. identify and comment on the pedagogical approach to research on education
  7. make an outline of a pedagogical research
  8. anticipate ethical challenges in pedagogical research and practice, respecting the principles of equality and non-discrimination
  9. plan and organize different forms of contextually appropriate pedagogical action
  10. demonstrate skills necessary for continuing (self-)education
  11. explain the somatic dimension of the educational process and demonstrate body-conscious pedagogical tact
  12. critically examine contemporary trends in education
  13. elaborate on the determinants of an inclusive, equality- and social justice-oriented approach to education
  14. interpret different approaches to leadership in education
  15. analyse the teaching process with regard to the teaching methodology specific to a particular school subject
  16. elaborate on the effectiveness of using media in the educational process from a pedagogical perspective
